The Delta State University came into existence in 1992 with its main campus at Abraka with other campuses at Anwai and Oleh. The University runs a multi-campus system with three campuses within a distance of 200km apart. Abraka Campus, Oleh Campus and Anwai Campus Asaba. The main campus of Delta State University is in Abraka, Delta State. Other campuses are in Anwai, Asaba and Oleh. The University is composed of ten faculties including the College/Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences. Others are Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Science, Faculty of the Social Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Management Sciences, Faculty of Environmental Studies, Faculty of Law and Faculty of Engineering etc.

DELSU Admission Requirements for JAMB and Direct Entry

  • Candidates who chose Delta State University as their preferred choice of institution during the Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) Registration.
  • UTME Candidate must have a minimum JAMB and/or the institutional cut-off marks or higher for the programmes applied.
  • Candidates are also required to obtain the required O’level credits for their programmes as specified in JAMB Brochure.
  • Candidate must be at least 16 (Sixteen) of age.
  • Interested Candidates who did not choose Delta State University during the UTME/DE Registration but wish to study in the University, should change to the DELSU via JAMB website.
