JAMB Subject Combination for Education and English Language and Literature/ Requirements [UTME and Direct Entry]
When considering admission into the Nigeria Tertiary institutions you will need to decide on the jamb subject combination that suits your course and Institution.
Your choice of institution and course will also depend on your O’level subjects. Candidates must have minimum of credit in five core subjects in WAEC/NECO/NABTEB examination.
JAMB SUBJECT COMBINATION FOR EDUCATION AND ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE
Literature in English and one (1) Art and any other subject.
Note: English Language is Compulsory
DIRECT ENTRY REQUIREMENT
(i) Two (2) A Level passes in relevant teaching subjects including Literature in English.
(ii) NCE credit or merit in two(2)relevant subjects.
O’LEVEL COMBINATION FOR EDUCATION AND ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE REQUIREMENT
Five (5) O Level credit passes to include English Language and Literature in English plus three (3) other Arts or Social Science subjects.
