Zamfara State University is a public higher learning institution located in Talata Mafara, Zamfara State, Nigeria. It was established in 2018. The university was founded and established in 2018 by the then Ex-governor of Zamfara State, Abdul’aziz Yari. The Institution offers various Programmes for undergraduate and admits students from all parts of the country regardless of the age, religion or tribe. The State University has been official accredited and/or recognized by the National Universities Commission (NUC), Nigeria.

ZAMSU Admission Requirements for JAMB and Direct Entry
- Candidates must meet ZAMSU cut-off mark and courses to be offered in order to be eligible for Post UTME examination and admission screening exercise.
- Candidates must possess at least 5 credit passes in relevant subjects which must include English Language and Mathematics at GCE O’level, WASSCE, SSCE, NECO, NABTEB or approved equivalents at not more than two (2) Sittings.
- Applicants must be at least sixteen (16) year of age in the year of admission.
