JAMB Subject Combination for Vocational Education/ Requirements [UTME and Direct Entry]

When considering admission into the Nigeria Tertiary institutions you will need to decide on the jamb subject combination that suits your course and Institution. Your choice of institution and course will also depend on your O’level subjects. Candidates must have minimum of credit in five core subjects in WAEC/NECO/NABTEB examination. This article shows the JAMB Subject Combination for Vocational Education.

JAMB SUBJECTS COMBINATION FOR VOCATIONAL EDUCATION

Mathematics, Economics plus one (1) of Literature in English, History, Government, Geography/Physics, Chemistry and Physics,Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry.

DIRECT ENTRY REQUIREMENT 

  • Agricultural Technical Education

i) NCE credit in Agricultural Science Education DM

ii) ND upper credit in Agricultural Science

iii) HND lower Credit in relevant programme of Agricultural Science.

  • Home Economics

i) NCE merit in Home Economics.

ii) ND lower credit in Home Economics.

O’LEVEL REQUIREMENT FOR VOCATIONAL EDUCATION

  • Agricultural Technical Education

Five (5) O Level credit passes to include English, Mathematics., Chemistry, Agricultural Science and Geography/Physics or TC Grade II.

  • Home Economics

Five (5) O Level credit passes in English, Mathematics., Home Economics and any two (2) of Management, Biology, Chemistry, and Clothing and Textiles
