Lagos State University LASU was established in 1983 by the enabling Law of Lagos State of Nigeria, for the advancement of learning and establishment of academic excellence. Lagos State University is located in Ojo, a town in Lagos State, Nigeria. Lagos State University offers diploma, degree and post graduate programmes including an MBA programme. The Institution offers various Programmes for undergraduate and admits students from all parts of the country regardless of the age, religion or tribe. The Federal University has been official accredited and/or recognized by the National Universities Commission (NUC), Nigeria.

LASU Admission Requirements for JAMB and Direct Entry
- Candidates who chose Lagos State University as their preferred choice of institution during the Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) Registration.
- UTME Candidate must have a minimum JAMB and/or the institutional cut-off marks or higher for the programmes applied.
- Candidates are also required to obtain the required O’level credits for their programmes as specified in JAMB Brochure.
- Candidate must be at least 16 (Sixteen) of age.
- Interested Candidates who did not choose Lagos State University during the UTME/DE Registration but wish to study in the University, should change to the LASU via JAMB website.
