Niger Delta University (NDU) is in Wilberforce Island, Bayelsa State in Nigeria. It is a Bayelsa state government funded university. It was established in 2000 by Chief DSP Alamieyeseigha, then governor of Bayelsa state. It has two main campuses, one in the state capital, Yenagoa, which contains the law faculty, and the other in Amassoma. It also has its teaching hospital known as Niger Delta University Teaching Hospital (NDUTH) in Okolobiri.

NDU Admission Requirements for JAMB and Direct Entry
- Candidates who chose Niger Delta University, Yenagoa as their preferred choice of institution during the Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) Registration.
- UTME Candidate must have a minimum JAMB and/or the institutional cut-off marks or higher for the programmes applied.
- Candidates are also required to obtain the required O’level credits for their programmes as specified in JAMB Brochure.
- Candidate must be at least 16 (Sixteen) of age.
- Interested Candidates who did not choose Niger Delta University, Yenagoa during the UTME/DE Registration but wish to study in the University, should change to the NDU via JAMB website.
