LIST OF UNIVERSITIES IN LAGOS STATE

Federal:

• National Open University of Nigeria, Lagos
• University of Lagos (UNILAG)

State:

• Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo
• Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH)
• Lagos State University of Education (LASUED)

Private:

• Augustine University
• Caleb University, Lagos
• Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos
• Anchor University Ayobo Lagos State
• Eko University of Medical and Health Sciences Ijanikin, Lagos
• James Hope University, Lagos, Lagos State

In summary Lagos State has eleven Universities. Two of the universities belongs to the Federal government, three belongs to the state government while the remaining six universities are privately-owned.

Requirements for Admission

There are two major requirements for Admission into all Universities in Nigeria State ;

Candidates must score up to the minimum required cut off to partake in Institution post UTME screening exercise

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 Credit pass at the core subjects relevant to your course of study
