JAMB Subject Combination for Teacher Education/ Requirements [UTME and Direct Entry]
When considering admission into the Nigeria Tertiary institutions you will need to decide on the jamb subject combination that suits your course and Institution. Your choice of institution and course will also depend on your O’level subjects. Candidates must have minimum of credit in five core subjects in WAEC/NECO/NABTEB examination. The article shows the JAMB subject combination for Teacher Education.
JAMB SUBJECT COMBINATION FOR TEACHER EDUCATION
Any three (3) of Literature In English, History, French, Geography/Physics, Economics and Mathematics.
Note: English Language is Compulsory
DIRECT ENTRY REQUIREMENT
(i) Two (2) A Level passes from Literature in English, History, Christian Religious Studies/Islamic Studies, Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo with O Level pass in Mathematics.
(ii) NCE merit in the subjects listed above.
O’LEVEL REQUIREMENT FOR TEACHER EDUCATION:
(i) Five (5) O Level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics and Economics.
(ii) Five (5) TC II merit including English Language and Mathematics.
