The Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University (KOMU), Ogboko [formerly Eastern Palm University – EPU] is a state government-owned and operated Nigerian university established by Imo state law No. 13 of 2016. The university is located in a well-known serene environment and small business community of Ogboko in Ideato South L.G.A. of Imo state Nigeria. The Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University plans to offer unique university education that equips students with contemporary theoretical and practical knowledge that will assist in solving problems of the society. The Institution offers various Programmes for undergraduate and admits students from all parts of the country regardless of the age, religion or tribe. The State University has been official accredited and/or recognized by the National Universities Commission (NUC), Nigeria.

EPU Admission Requirements for JAMB and Direct Entry
- Candidates who chose Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University as their preferred choice of institution during the Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) Registration.
- UTME Candidate must have a minimum JAMB and/or the institutional cut-off marks or higher for the programmes applied.
- Candidates are also required to obtain the required O’level credits for their programmes as specified in JAMB Brochure.
- Candidate must be at least 16 (Sixteen) of age.
- Interested Candidates who did not choose Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University during the UTME/DE Registration but wish to study in the University, should change to the KOMU via JAMB website.
