Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) has officially announced the Application date for the Post-UTME and Direct Entry Screening Exercise for the 2023/2024 Academic Session. This article shows the steps on how to apply for ABU Post UTME Form and date for the screening Exercise.

The Application Process and form is available ONLINE. The Screening date is Scheduled 21st – 26th August 2023. The Screening Fee is N2,000 and payment is made via REMITA (POS, online, or Bank).

Prospective candidates can register by visiting https://portal.abu.edu.ng/forms or clicking on ‘2023/2024 Post-UTME Registration’ on the Ahmadu Bello University website https://abu.edu.ng.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidates who score 180 in the 2022 & 2023 UTME conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
  • Applicant should have chosen ABU as their first choice.
  • Minimum five (5) credit passes in O’Level including English Language, in not more than two sittings.
  • Direct Entry candidates should possess relevant qualifications such as OND/NCE/HND/First Degree/ A’ Level in the appropriate disciplines
  • Candidates who did not initial choose ABU as their first choice but are now considering it are eligible too. But ensure you apply for JAMB change of institution.
  • Candidates using awaiting results are advised to Update their profile and Upload.

ABU Post UTME Screening Schedule

The screening exercise has been organised for the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 candidates, starting from 21st August to 26th August 2023. The schedule is broken down by faculties:

  • 21st August: Faculty of Social Science
  • 22nd August: Faculty of Engineering & Environmental Design
  • 23rd August: Faculty of Nursing & Law
  • 24th August: Faculties of Agriculture, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Veterinary Medicine
  • 25th August: ABU Business School, Faculties of Administration, Arts, and Education
  • 26th August: College of Medical Sciences

Candidates are advised to bring their original JAMB and post-UTME registration printouts to the screening exercise. Any UTME candidate who fails to register for the screening exercise may be deemed ineligible for admission into the university.
